Hotel Bristol is located in the very heart of Pärnu overlooking the lively pedestrian-only Rüütli Street, which is one of the town's main shopping areas. The Bristol hotel is in a unique red brick building of gothic design that was built in two stages. The part of the building in the corner of Rüütli and Hommiku Streets was erected at the end of the 19th century according to the design by B. V. Bock and it was initially meant for dwelling, however, it now accommodates catering facilities. The extension along Rüütli Street was completed in 1904 according to the design signed by the Town Architect H. v. Wolffeldt. The ground floor was designed for commercial activities, the first floor accommodated a hotel for a long time before it was redesigned into offices. The hotel with guest rooms on the first and second floor was reopened in 1996. The Mirage, one of the most popular nightclubs of the town, is located across the street from the hotel.
